It’s March in a couple of days so we’re looking at the month ahead and one of the most exciting interior design events in the UK – London Design Week. Held at the Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour, LDW is preparing for yet another show-stopping design event. With the Trade Preview commencing on 10th March and the event opening up to the public 13th-15th March, we’re excited to see what one of the first British interior design events of the year has in store.
The prestigious event has quite the reputation, having been described as the ‘interior design world’s Mecca’ by Vanity Fair – the six day spectacular is set to turn some heads! The Design Centre is dedicated to delivering the best in design, making sure to inspire and inform whilst connecting industry experts, influencers, emerging innovators and established firms. It’s all back, just in time to boost your spring-cleaning ambitions with the very best in luxury interior design.
Providing insight to the ‘Ultimate Interior Design’ collectives alongside an impeccable level of customer service to contribute to the overall experience and sense of community. Over the week there will be workshops, demos, talks and meet-the-designer sessions and panel discussions with the world’s leading design collectives.
We’re always on the look out for some exciting new visual stimuli and with over 600 international brands on display in a vast 120 showrooms, we’re sure there will be something for everyone. United by the creative excellence, this year’s event is set to be packed with patterns, shapes and colours in highly sophisticated combinations, noble materials and stunning forms.
Keep an eye out for the ‘Legends’ window displays; dressed to capture the very best in design, celebrating and collaborating with the very best global artists, designers and cultural influencers to create eye-catching displays. This year the photography archives of Iconic Images have been selected, so expect to see some of the most classic images from fashion, rock and film featured.
The design extravaganza boasts immersive access all areas to the showrooms, design discovery tours and a plethora of pop-up food and drink stalls – there’s probably too much to see in a day so why not make a real trip of it? We’re going to keep on top of the announcements as they come and you can too! Find out more on their website here;
