Wylde IA were approached and briefed to work in collaboration with creative office design and fit-out consultancy Concept4. The brief was to design an exclusive arrivals lounge for Delta Airlines passengers in Terminal 3 featuring private showers, butler service, business and connectivity centre, dining facilities with Starbucks coffee. The exclusive lounge project was due to the increased non-stop transatlantic flights from the United States into London Heathrow, requiring a welcoming stop off point for premium passengers and business travellers.
The design and materials were in keeping with the brand identity and offered a luxurious and engaging environment for Delta’s high value customers on their arrival into Heathrow after a long distance flight. With such a tight turn around on the project and strict logistical criteria for delivering materials into the airport and parts the Delta executive team fast track approved the design.
We transformed the space into a smart and welcoming lounge for guests to relax, catch up on emails over coffee or take a shower in the luxurious private showers.
