As Bristol-based designers we love a local project! Towards the end of 2019 we completed a new scheme for a local hospital charity, Above & Beyond.
Nestled between hospital buildings, with employees split across multiple floors in cellular offices, the Bristol-based charity had outgrown their existing premises in central Bristol. In addition to their expanding team, the organisation hoped to improve working practices by bringing all their teams together in a modern open-plan environment.
Their existing premises did not allow the charity to make the desired changes, so new premises were found close by in a landmark Bristol building with the additional benefits of on-site gym, café and conference facilities.
Above & Beyond’s new office brings all the teams together in one open-plan space with zones for collaborative working alongside more formal meeting rooms.
Alongside developing their new office scheme, the charity were undergoing a rebranding process. The design scheme is bright and cheerful with pops of colour throughout but also allows plenty of scope for additional branding elements to be applied in the not too distant future…
