We’re currently working on some plans and strategies to implement social distancing within your existing workplaces. Currently, we have a live project in process and we’re running a walk-through to ensure the design strategy works and is practical, allowing a safe return to work during this pandemic. Once we have checked the scheme works on site, we’ll be bringing you an update, explaining how we can help you make your workplace as safe as possible from Covid-19. In the meantime, it’s Chelsea Flower show week! The Wylde team always make time to visit to the annual garden show in the capital and this year we’re doing it from the comfort of our homes as the Royal Horticultural Society takes it online!

We’re thrilled that the world’s greatest flower show is going online! The virtual tours, seminars and tutorials are set to bring world-leading designers, plant experts and practical gardening advice straight to our homes. It’s not just about pretty flowers and plants – at WyldeIA, we really see the parallels between our interior design industry and the outdoor design and landscaping sector. Interior architecture by definition is the art and science of enhancing the interior of a building to achieve a healthier and more aesthetically pleasing environment for the people using the space, and garden design really are the same principles taken outdoors.

A well designed space doesn’t have to be indoors. Good design is showcased year after year at the Chelsea Flower Show with some incredibly innovative and exciting designs making the stage. Our favourite design from previous years has been created by an organisation we’ve worked with on multiple projects – Anglepoise. As you can imagine, we’re big fans of the idea that you can create an “outside room” – a garden needs seating, lighting, colours, flooring considered much like any interior design scheme.

Gardens should be an extension of interior design – layering plants and nature around the outdoor part of your home. To help with this, Anglepoise have created their outdoor lamps – beautiful, industrial and timeless pieces that bring any exterior into the modern day. Unsurprisingly this sleek yet fun design scooped the Gold prize with it’s elegant wooden structures engulfed by carefully positions plants and zesty orange lamps. We love it!

Here are some of our favourite snaps from our previous visits to RHS Chelsea Flower Show, enjoy!
